Départ en vacances - Leaving on holiday
Juste un petit mot pour dire que je vais maintenant mettre crochet et pelotes dans ma valise, pour trois semaines en Suède. J'ai bloqué le Kiri pour ma maman - photos au retour!
Just a few words to say that I'm now putting my hook and my yarn in the suitcase, in order to spend three weeks in Sweden. I have blocked the Kiri shawl for my mother - I'll put up pictures when I come back!

Un petit bouton - A small button
Ah, la couture... Je commence à réaliser que la couture, pour moi, est une activité saisonnière. Aujourd'hui, c'est mercredi, et théoriquement, je pourrais bâtir et essayer un petit haut manches courtes dont les pièces sont découpées depuis pas mal de temps déjà.
Oh, yes, sewing... I start to understand that sewing , to me, is a seasonal hobby. Today is Wednesday, and theoretically I could baste and try on a lovely little summer top for which I cut out the pieces some time ago.
Mais j'ai besoin de tondre la pelouse, de désherber au pied des haricots, de préparer un cadre pour mes fraisiers... Aux beaux jours, ce n'est pas "mercredi couture" chez moi, c'est "mercredi jardin".
But the lawn needs mowing, there are plenty of weeds to pull out around the beans, and I want to work on a raised bed for my strawberry plants... In my house, in summer, it's not "sewing Wednesday", but "gardening Wednesday".
Malgré tout, j'ai enfin réussi à terminer la veste bleu. Elle a maintenant une doublure et un bouton fait main. Ma première tentative avec la pâte Fimo. Chacun peut juger comme il veut de ma réussite, mais je me suis vraiment amusé!
However, I have at long last finished my blue jacket. It is now equipped with a lining and a handmade button - my first try at polymer clay. I leave it up to you to decide whether you like it or not - in any case, I had a great time making it!

Vraiment, ce n'est pas une heure pour surfer sur Internet sans projet précis... mais juste quand j'allais éteindre l'ordinateur et aller me coucher, j'ai trouver ceci. La customisation faite art.
